I installed Mono v1.0 on Fedora 2 and ran some console apps without a problem. However, every time I would try to run a WinForm app, I would get "wine: failed to create the process heap" error.
Any ideas?

I installed SQL Server 2005 (Express) and ran some .NET code through - looks very interesting.

Internet Explorer is a complex and powerful application that provides a cost effective way to deploy and maintain applications. IE can enchance user experience by running signed COM (a.k.a ActiveX) components, but these componets could also potentially expose user's data. I argue that IE ActiveX components are here to stay and that the best practice for the use is not to install any controls from companies she doesn't absolutely trust.
